Reps for Research is back!
On Sunday, March 3, 2024, Chris Fausel, PharmD, competed in the Arnold Sports Festival Pump & Run 5K in Columbus, Ohio, a combination event that includes bench-pressing and a 5K run. Chris challenged his friends and colleagues to pledge support to Hoosier Cancer Research Network (HCRN) for every bench press “rep” he completes (maximum of 30 reps during the event).
As oncology precision genomics pharmacist at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, and chairman of the HCRN board of directors, Chris’s support for cancer research is more than a job — it is his passion. “These patients are facing their fight with cancer with uncommon strength and courage,” he said. “It’s a privilege to compete in their honor.”
